AC Strays is an artist collective rooted in the mud of Atlanta, the Bronx, and Bronzeville — places that get “renewed” by people who never lived there, and keep producing anyway. We answer first to the people of the Global Majority.
A stray was never untamed to begin with — it was never meant to belong to a home, an institution, a category, and has learned to celebrate that. Not lost. Just out of bounds.
We work in the stray frequencies, turning what’s discarded into method. What gets thrown out becomes the thing everything else is built on.
